The Freight Shed in Yorktown

It is located directly on the York river and provides up to 1,950 square feet of celebration space that is accompanied by stunning backdrops. Given this fact, their calendar fills quickly and it is easy to see why. Norfolk Botanical Garden

Norfolk Botanical Garden is a stunning Virginia wedding venue with over 175 acres of diversely rich gardens. The garden has a long horticultural history, that began with a grant for an azalea garden, then growing to include thousands of other flower and plant varieties. Because of the expansive garden design, there are 13 ceremony and reception locations to choose from. There are also over 14 miles of gardens that can accommodate larger wedding guest lists. However, the Norfolk Botanical Garden can also accommodate intimate groups of 20 or less.

The Mill at Fine Creek

Air and Space Center 

Located in Downtown Hampton is the Air and Space Center. This museum is like no other within the state with the focus being on aeronautical sciences. Inside the Main Gallery, is a large, open space perfect for dining next to the Apollo 12 on display. The Observation Deck on the top floor of the museum is the perfect covered outdoor location for ceremonies and cocktail hours. The deck provides scenic and panoramic views of downtown, the harbor, and the waterways stretching into the Chesapeake Bay.

Their wedding packages include tables and chairs. Also included is a vendor list for caterers and others they have built a close working relationship. The Air and Space Center make it a point to provide an upscale event while being family centric and fun.

The Chrysler Museum

The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk is one of the most beautiful venues in the Hampton Roads area. One ceremony and reception space, called Huber Court provides a timeless and modern blend with glass ceilings, and a gorgeous serpentine staircase. During cocktail hour, guests can mingle amongst each other and various art pieces at the same time. Similarly, for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours, there are two romantic garden spaces.

The wedding packages feature five hours of coverage, which also includes one hour of garden or gallery space. Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

There are three places to pick from at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond when selecting a specific ceremony or reception location inside the venue. Between the Marble Hall and the Louise B and J Harwood Cochrane Atrium as the first option, The Main Museum offers a lovely synthesis of traditional and modern. The Stan and Dorothy Pauley Center, the second option, provides a stunning historical backdrop with its opulent dining room, formal event space, and slate terrace. Thirdly, the sculpture garden adds interest in a variety of styles, from the classical to the dramatic to the contemporary, and is visible from both locations. Any of these locations are also excellent for hosting larger guest lists.

Virginia Aquarium

The Virginia Beach Aquarium is a fantastic location with a gorgeously inspiring backdrop of nautical landscapes. There are four different spaces inside from which to choose. The North Building comes first. Larger weddings can be accommodated by renting the entire structure. The Promenade is the second. This room provides access to their scenic deck as well as a lovely overlook of Owls Creek. This area can be used for ceremonies and quickly transformed into a stunning reception area. Another excellent option for a reception area with breathtaking tank views is the Sharks and Sea Turtle Gallery. Last but not least, the Atlantic Explorer catamaran is a fantastic choice for a small-scale outdoor ceremony on the water.

The room is available for rent from six until midnight as part of their wedding packages. Additionally, there are areas for getting ready. The aquarium offers on-site catering and full bar. They also include valet parking, and wifi.

Virginia Zoo

There are numerous options for renting space at the Virginia Zoo, a special place. Rentals can be done during the day or at night. And the preferred locations are Flora Point, the Formal Garden, and the Garden Tent. The Fountain Plaza or Plaza Garden are the following options for catering locations. Events may also be held at different exhibit locations. Although the Event Pavilion does offer some weather protection, the majority of their options are outside.
