Also, this overlook is easily accessible by vehicle giving you beautiful mountainous views without having to hike.

2. Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

Surrounded by luscious gardens and tranquil ponds, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is a picturesque spot to propose. The gardens offer a variety of settings, from formal gardens to natural woodlands, so you can find the perfect spot to suit your style. Additionally, admission is $6 for ages 18-54 and $3 for ages 6-17 and those 55+.

3. Luray Caverns

Take your proposal below the surface by popping the question inside the largest Cavern in the Eastern United States. 1. Kingsmill Resort

Situated between Richmond and Virginia Beach, along the James River, is the Kingsmill Resort. This resort is a top destination with championship golf courses, world-class spa services, a serene pond, and finally, a marina. Also, the grounds throughout the property are well-manicured with numerous scenic places to top off a romantic weekend by popping the questions.

2. Pocahontas State Park

Pocahontas State Park is an expansive outdoor playground perfect with a natural setting for your proposal. Throughout the park, there are over 90 miles of trails, the 225-acre Swift Creek Lake, and miles of forest leaving plenty of outdoor adventure to be found. There are also other added elements you can incorporate into your proposal include a kayak rental, overnight cabins or yurts, and a large amphitheater known as Heritage Amphitheater.

3. Belle Isle Beach

Belle Isle Beach, located inside Belle Isle State Park, is a tranquil location for a proposal with its natural beauty and peaceful surroundings.
